Introduction
This position would suit a physically fit individual as you will be required to move/carry medium to heavy
loads of goods. You need to be able to work well within a team, be accurate with excellent attention to
detail and be comfortable working on top of Table Mountain (ie: not afraid of heights and able to
withstand the varying mountain weather conditions).
Duties & Responsibilities
· Processing of stock
· Replenishing stock
· Merchandising, checking transfers and stock movements.
· Price changes
· Stock takes
· General housekeeping, tidying and cleaning
· Support on the shop floor when required.
· Assisting visitors with general tourist information
Desired Experience & Qualification
· Able to follow stock handling processes and procedures.
· Able to follow health and safety guidelines
· Be physically fit.
· Be accurate and have reasonable numeracy skills
· Previous retail experience an advantage
· Effective communication Skills
· Flexible
· Good performance and attendance record
· Available to work shifts, public holidays and weekends
