Directing drivers daily to the correct premises of clients for the deliveries.
Ensuring that maps with the right directions to the customer’s location are copied for drivers when they report to the office.
Ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are serviced within the allowed service intervals.
Ensuring staff under your control maintain a high level of service to customers.
Ensure maximum utilization of vehicles, planning of loads, routes, fuel, etc.
Qualifications• Grade 12 qualificationExperience
3 – 4 years of experience in Logistics/transportation industry
Experience in route planning and the management of collections and deliveries
Knowledge and Skills
Essential:
Good problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
Exceptional organization, time management and multitasking abilities
Proficient computer skills (MS excel; Office 365)
Great communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable:
Knowledge of Trackmatic and Mixtelematics systems
