Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Civil Handyman with a Trade Certificate to perform a variety of maintenance, repair, and minor construction tasks related to civil works. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in masonry, roofing, plastering, painting, tiling, concrete work, and general building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform general building repairs and maintenance, including masonry, plastering, painting, waterproofing, and tiling.
• Repair and maintain concrete structures, floors, walls, and roofs.
• Conduct paving and minor road maintenance work.
• Install and repair doors, windows, ceilings, and partitions.
• Assist in carpentry, plumbing, and other minor building-related work as required.
• Inspect and troubleshoot structural issues, providing recommendations for necessary repairs.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Keep records of maintenance and repair work performed.
• Assist in the coordination of outsourced civil works when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
• Trade Certificate in Civil/Building Construction, Masonry, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in civil maintenance, construction, or a related field.
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools relevant to civil works.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations in the workplace.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour.
• Valid driver’s license (advantageous but not mandatory).

Preferred Skills & Attributes:
• Experience in working on commercial, industrial, or residential buildings.
• Knowledge of waterproofing and structural integrity assessments.
• Ability to communicate effectively and report maintenance issues.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under minimal supervision.

Working Conditions:
• May be required to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
• Occasional lifting of heavy materials and equipment.
• Work may involve heights and scaffolding.
