Ensure that no goods \/ stock pass through the Point of Sale (POS) without it being paid for.<\/p>\n<p><script async window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grade 12 or minimum of 1 (one) year work related experience<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate in English and the dominant language spoken in the geographical area where the position is available<\/li>\n<li>Ability to perform basic calculations accurately<\/li>\n<li>Must have strong administration skills<\/li>\n<li>Must be willing to work shifts, weekends and Public Holidays<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to work under pressure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Cash Handling<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that all cash (including floats, and petty cash) allocated to you balance (No shorts and overs)<\/li>\n<li>Ensure goods are correctly identified and captured on the Point of Sale Terminal.<\/li>\n<li>Capture the correct payment type received from Customers on the Point of Sale Terminal<\/li>\n<li>Ensure you have sufficient change at all times<\/li>\n<li>Ensure Pick-ups are done accurately and within the set parameters<\/li>\n<li>Ensure Cash-ups are done accurately at the end of your shift<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all your daily takings have been dropped into the Drop Safe \/ vault<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all transactions relating to other stores money, deliveries, and quotes are processed correctly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Administration<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sign, compile, and file all related documentation relating to the Cashiers function<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Ready for Business<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Adhere to Ready for Business and Beyond my Control as per the CB Way<\/p>\n<p><strong>Customer Service<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Offer fast, friendly, and efficient service to all Cashbuild Customers when checking in and out Customers goods<\/li>\n<li>Direct Customers to relevant person who can assist him \/ her<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that you comply with the company\u2019s dress code<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Safety (OHSA) Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Safety (OHSA) compliance (e.g. ensure Customer and staff safety) within area of responsibility<\/li>\n<li>Report any discrepancies to the Store Manager<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Security Awareness<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Security (e.g. ensure system password control at till point are adhere to)<\/li>\n<li>Ensure cash safe keeping and transport to the cash office as per the Cashbuild Way requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Drive for results<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Achieves set targets and completes work accurately and at the required standard<\/li>\n<li>Delivers best practice quality\/ standards as established in the
