Strategic Planning:<\/p>\n<p>1.1. Develop and implement warehouse operations strategies to efficiently achieve business objectives.<\/p>\n<p>1.2. Conduct capacity planning and layout optimization of the warehouse floor.<\/p>\n<p>2. Inventory Management:<\/p>\n<p>2.1. Ensure accurate inventory levels, tracking, and reporting to management.<\/p>\n<p>2.2. Conduct Monthly Stock Checks to tally up with the accounting department&#8217; report.<\/p>\n<p>3. Operations Management (Non-exhaustive list):<\/p>\n<p>3.1. Supervise receipt, storage, and shipping processes.<br \/>\n3.2. Inspect goods &amp; packaging for damage.<br \/>\n3.3. Reject damaged goods &amp; immediately report this to management<\/p>\n<p>(Take Pictures of Damage for work group).<br \/>\n3.4. Load and Off-load Trucks using a 3 Ton Forklift.<br \/>\n3.5. Liaise with Transporters to monitor arrival times for loading. And off-site loading.<\/p>\n<p>3.6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993.<br \/>\n3.7. Sweep the warehouse &amp; wipe down the forklift &amp; Scales.<br \/>\n3.8. Execute duties as assigned by management, including special projects and tasks.<\/p>\n<p>4. Team Management:<\/p>\n<p>4.1. Lead and guide, already existing warehouse staff.<\/p>\n<p>Update them on your preferred way of getting things done, (approved by management).<\/p>\n<p>4.2. Foster a culture of Synergy, continuous improvement and employee engagement amongst the warehouse team.<\/p>\n<p>5. Quality Control:<\/p>\n<p>5.1. Implement quality control measures to minimize errors and damage.<\/p>\n<p>5.2. Conduct regular inspections and audits (Of Cleanliness, safety, potential hazards).<br \/>\n5.3. Inspect Delivery Vehicles and Forklift for any issues Daily. Also Scheduling maintenance appointments.<br \/>\n5.4. Ensure Scale is calibrated yearly.<br \/>\n5.5. Maintain and replenish the Warehouse First Aid Kit.<br \/>\n5.6.
