However, it will become a requirement when a candidate is being seriously considered for the position and subsequently subject to vetting and screening processes.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The\u00a0submitted medical certificate should not be older than 3 months prior to the date of engagement<\/em><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"mb-2\">ROLE RESPONSIBILITY:<\/h4>\n<p><strong>To engage in the guarding and handling of all valuables in transit between various areas and drive a vehicle in the performance of all duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Maintain vehicle standards and comply with company equipment and vehicle procedures<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Receive and sign for all equipment and check that all is in working order<\/li>\n<li>Conduct vehicle audit and complete checklist<\/li>\n<li>Responsible and accountable for all technology and equipment used in the vehicle<\/li>\n<li>Inspects vehicle on completion of duty<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Drive vehicle responsibly and recording of accident and incidents<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drive in a responsible manner and obey all traffic regulations<\/li>\n<li>Report of all\u00a0incidents to the branch and relevant authorities<\/li>\n<li>Comply with vehicle operating instructions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Perform control function of scheduled trips<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform standard checks prior to departing from the branch<\/li>\n<li>Report to control immediately when the vehicle becomes immobilized or likely to become immobilized<\/li>\n<li>Comply with instructions to ensure that company codes are adhered to and precautions are taken to protect crew and load<\/li>\n<li>Carry out operational security drills and maintain security awareness and vigilance<\/li>\n<li>Take preventative action if any suspicious activity is noticed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Health and Safety<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>P<\/b>articipate in safety forums<\/li>\n<li>Report all safety incidents<\/li>\n<li>Attend safety education and refresher programmes<\/li>\n<li>Comply with ALL safety policies and procedures in the workplace<\/li>\n<li>Wear protective clothing at ALL times<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"mb-2\">THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:<\/h4>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grade 12<\/li>\n<li>Valid PSIRA Certification<\/li>\n<li>Valid PDP License<\/li>\n<li>CIT Certificate<\/li>\n<li>Valid SAPS Firearm Competency with Business Purposes<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure and in a high risk, fast-paced environment<\/li>\n<li>Ability to assess risk and act swiftly<\/li>\n<li>Working as part of a team<\/li>\n<li>Adherence to policies and procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 class=\"mb-2\">ABOUT THE COMPANY:<\/h4>\n<p>G4S is the world\u2019s leading international security solutions group, which specialises in outsourced business processes in sectors where security and safety risks are considered a strategic threat.
