Town \/ CityThe GlenLocation &#8211; Province\/AreaGautengLocation &#8211; CountrySouth AfricaJob Description<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities And Duties<\/p>\n<p>1 Repair and service motor vehicles according to Motus standards and specifications Requirements Of Key Duties And Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>1.1 Repair and service vehicles according to specific or franchise specifications<\/p>\n<p>1.2 Establish parts required for service or repairs to be performed and ensure the correct parts are ordered<\/p>\n<p>1.3 Report to Foreman \/ Service Advisor promptly on any additional work required<\/p>\n<p>1.4 Obtain authorisation prior to carrying out additional work<\/p>\n<p>1.5 Obtain technical information from Foreman \/ Master Technician on problem jobs<\/p>\n<p>1.6 Adhere to Motus workshop policies and procedures<\/p>\n<p>1.7 Ensure that all old parts are placed in a plastic bag in the boot of the vehicle, except in the case of warranty work where old parts must be returned to the Warranty Clerk<\/p>\n<p>1.8 Ensure that all oils and consumables used are recorded on the job card<\/p>\n<p>1.9 Ensure that worked hours are clocked correctly<\/p>\n<p>1.10 Ensure that the vehicle is kept as clean as possible and that all seat and fender covers are clean<\/p>\n<p>1.11 Do not leave keys in an unattended vehicle<\/p>\n<p>1.12 Ensure that work bay is kept safe, clean and tidy<\/p>\n<p>1.13 Report any faulty \/ broken equipment to the Foreman \/ Workshop Manager<\/p>\n<p>1.14 Ensure that special tools and equipment are used according to safety regulations and specifications<\/p>\n<p>1.15 Ensure that hand tools set conforms to Motus standard<\/p>\n<p>1.16 Accept responsibility for apprentice and impart as much technical knowledge to him as possible through explanation, practice and the monitoring of work, including rectifying faults<\/p>\n<p>1.17 Reasonable requests by Management outside your job description will be performed from time to time<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-9040931780721427\"\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\n     style=\"display:block\"\n     data-ad-format=\"autorelaxed\"\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-9040931780721427\"\n     data-ad-slot=\"5167572988\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p>* Please note that preference will be given to EE Candidates in line with the Companies transformation goals<\/p>\n<p>Specific Role Responsibilities<br \/>\nRepair and service motor vehicles according to Motus standards and specifications Requirements Of Key Duties And Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications and Experience<br \/>\n&#8211;
