Manage buying for the store. Ensure the Supermarket and Fresh strategy and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP\u2019s) are implemented according to agreed standards to deliver on sales and profitability targets. Manage in store activities to enhance Customers\u2019 shopping experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Areas:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage and review the team and departments key performance areas:<\/li>\n<li>Manage Efficient range and stock management<\/li>\n<li>Management of suppliers of product and equipment<\/li>\n<li>Ensure excellent service to customers.<\/li>\n<li>Manage adherence to the implementation of Food Safety and OHS requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Management and understanding of systems, policies, and standard operating procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Execute plans to maintain excellent compliance and operational standards.<\/li>\n<li>Assist Store Manager when they are on leave.<\/li>\n<li>Managing store sales, expenses, and gross profit.<\/li>\n<li>Manage staff schedule.<\/li>\n<li>Managing people including industrial relations and handling staff grievances.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"dynamic-card\">\n<h5><b>Minimum requirements<\/b><\/h5>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Matric.<\/li>\n<li>A retail or business management related qualification would be advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>3-4 years\u2019 experience in a store management position.<\/li>\n<li>Passion for entrepreneurial thinking.<\/li>\n<li>Must be assertive and excellent in decision making.<\/li>\n<li>Efficient in building strategic relationships with staff and customers.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>A self-starter.<\/li>\n<li>Numerical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Financial acumen.<\/li>\n<li>Be available to work irregular hours in consideration of operational demands.<\/li>\n<li>Valid SA driver\u2019s license.<\/li>\n<li>Own transport.<\/li>\n<li>Be prepared to relocate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>Kindly note: All applications are to be submitted through the Careers Site and Pnet.
