A Debtors Clerk at OK Franchise is responsible for accurately processing and effectively reconciling complex trade debtors&#8217; accounts. This role is part of the debtors&#8217; accounts team that provides administrative support to the finance function including the collection of debt, whilst applying in-depth financial reconciliation knowledge to assist and liaise with debtors in recovering and reducing outstanding debt.<br \/>\n<script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-9040931780721427\"\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\n     style=\"display:block\"\n     data-ad-format=\"autorelaxed\"\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-9040931780721427\"\n     data-ad-slot=\"5167572988\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Job Advert Details<br \/>\nJob CategoryFinanceJob Objectives<br \/>\nPerform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables\u2019 data<br \/>\nReconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted<br \/>\nVerify discrepancies and resolve clients\u2019 billing issues.<br \/>\nFacilitate payment of invoices\/credit notes due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients<br \/>\nSending statements to all customers<br \/>\nAllocated payments to customer accounts and apply discount<br \/>\nWork on debtors ageing, follow up on outstanding payments<br \/>\nInvoices\/credit notes to be sent to customers before cut off to ensure payment is received<br \/>\nEnsure all payments are posted correctly with correct references<br \/>\nAll queries to be attended to daily<br \/>\nEnsure allocations\/discounts are put in the correct period<br \/>\nAttention to VAT portion when posting<br \/>\nMaintain customer relationships<br \/>\nFiling weekly<br \/>\nQualifications<br \/>\nMatric &#8211; (essential)<br \/>\nNational Diploma in Accounting or related field (desired)<br \/>\nExperience<\/p>\n<p>+2 years\u2019 experience as a Debtors\u2019 Clerk or similar role with in-depth knowledge of core administrative support &#8211; (essential).<br \/>\nPractical experience and in-depth knowledge of Debtors Accounting principles including general ledger and journals &#8211; (essential)<br \/>\nStrong understanding and practice of good client care including telephone etiquette<br \/>\nPractical experience in SAP Finance &#8211;
