Responsible for ensuring that a sound creditors function is maintained and that the company complies with all creditor\u2019s standards.<\/p>\n<p>Minimum Requirements<br \/>\nMatric\/Grade 12 with mathematics and accounting<\/p>\n<p>A tertiary qualification in Finance<\/p>\n<p>Experience working on Syspro as an ERP system<\/p>\n<p>Displayed creditors experience working in a Manufacturing environment<\/p>\n<p>Experience or understanding of the commodities industry would be advantageous<\/p>\n<p>Duties &amp; Responsibilities<br \/>\nInvoices and Credit Memo Processing<\/p>\n<p>Oversee the matching of invoices \/ credit memo\u2019s with Syspro receipts in the GR\/IR account.<\/p>\n<p>Oversee the checking of invoices \/ credit memo\u2019s to ensure compliance with VAT legislation.<\/p>\n<p>Oversee the capturing of invoices \/ credit memo\u2019s into the Syspro system.<\/p>\n<p>Ensure supplier quantity and price charges reconcile and are allocated to the correct contract and reflect the correct payment terms.<\/p>\n<p>Investigate and resolve any differences between supplier statements, invoices and Group receipts and\/or purchase orders.<\/p>\n<p>Where down payments exist, initiate the clearing of down payments with the Creditors Controller.<\/p>\n<p>Ensure supplier invoices and supplier statements are correctly collated.<\/p>\n<p>Prepare creditors reconciliations and reconcile creditor statements to Accounts Payable trial balance and payment due.<\/p>\n<p>Prepare monthly accruals and ensure capturing by the GL team.<\/p>\n<p>Daily, weekly and monthly cash forecasting<\/p>\n<p>Monthly\/Weekly SAGIS reporting<\/p>\n<p>Query Management<\/p>\n<p>Solve all creditor queries and liaise with affected individuals to ensure communication of the solution.<\/p>\n<p>Follow up and resolve long outstanding queries with suppliers.<\/p>\n<p>Resolve queries identified by Creditor Administration Clerks and drive the process until queries are resolved.<\/p>\n<p>General Administration<\/p>\n<p>File and safeguard records within area of responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>Compile ad hoc spreadsheets and analysis when required.<\/p>\n<p>Information and Data management<\/p>\n<p>Ensure team members accurately and regularly capture data onto Syspro to enable access to reliable data and reporting for trend analysis and decision making.<\/p>\n<p>Teamwork and Self-Management<\/p>\n<p>Take ownership and accountability for tasks and activities and demonstrate effective self-management in terms of planning and prioritizing, and self-development.<\/p>\n<p>Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of work are consistently and accurately maintained.<\/p>\n<p>Inform relevant parties in the event of tasks or deadlines not met, the potential risks thereof and provide appropriate resolution.<\/p>\n<p>Support and drive the business core values.<\/p>\n<p>Manage colleagues and client\u2019s expectations and communicate appropriately.<\/p>\n<p>Demonstrate willingness to help others and \u201cgo the extra mile\u201d to meet team targets and objectives.<\/p>\n<p>Champion training and development of self and others through utilizing available training opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>Participate in, and drive regular performance appraisals and ensure that own targets and goals are clear and achievable.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/rcl.erecruit.co\/candidateapp\/jobs\/categories\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Apply Here<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\"><p>Raw Creditors Clerk Details Closing Date 2025\/06\/09 Reference Number RCL250521-3 CompanyRCL FoodsJob TitleRaw Creditors ClerkFunctionsCommercialJob Type ClassificationPermanentLocation &#8211;
