Deliver the standard.<br \/>\nWe are searching for a hands-on, people-focused Restaurant Manager to take full ownership of the in-store operation and lead from the front.<br \/>\nThis is your opportunity to run a high-performance store, build an energised team, and consistently deliver the Blacksteers standard of quality, speed, and service.<br \/>\nFrom daily operations to customer experience, you set the tone \u2014 and drive the result.<br \/>\nPurpose of the position<br \/>\nAs the Restaurant Manager, you\u2019ll oversee stock, staff, systems, service, and sales \u2014 ensuring the team performs at its best and that every touchpoint delivers on<br \/>\nthe Blacksteer\u2019s promise: quality, consistency, and vibe.<br \/>\nKey responsibilities<br \/>\nOperational &amp; Administrative Management<br \/>\n\u2022 Conduct full daily stock counts and manage par levels through effective ordering and supplier coordination.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure accurate invoice capturing and adherence to internal reporting processes.<br \/>\n\u2022 Complete daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, including turnover, wastage, cash-ups, banking, and KPI tracking.<br \/>\nTeam leadership and people management<br \/>\n\u2022 Lead by example \u2014 set expectations and maintain discipline through NWK&#8217;s policies and procedures.<br \/>\n\u2022 Cultivate a team culture centred on ownership, respect, service, and performance.<br \/>\nCustomer flow and service experience<br \/>\n\u2022 Monitor and direct customer flow to maintain high service speed and consistent presentation.<br \/>\n\u2022 Engage customers with confidence \u2014 balancing hospitality with operational oversight.<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintain a store atmosphere that reflects Blacksteer\u2019s vibrant and welcoming identity.<br \/>\nStore standards, compliance and presentation<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure hygiene, food safety, and quality protocols are followed at all times.<br \/>\n\u2022 Oversee equipment functionality, cleanliness, and compliance with company procedures.<br \/>\n\u2022 Monitor cash movement (floats, tips, deposits) with strict accuracy.<br \/>\nPlanning and execution<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintain a proactive store diary to plan for peak periods, public holidays, and special events.<br \/>\n\u2022 Continuously assess performance data to identify areas of improvement and growth opportunities.<br \/>\nMinimum requirements:<br \/>\n\u2022 Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.<br \/>\n\u2022 Fluent in English and Afrikaans (both verbal and written).<br \/>\n\u2022 Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.<br \/>\n\u2022 2-3 Year\u2019s proven experience in food service, hospitality or retail management.<br \/>\nThe ideal candidate:<br \/>\n\u2022 Has excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.<br \/>\n\u2022 Has a strong customer service orientation and takes pride in personal hygiene and presentation.<br \/>\n\u2022 Is committed to growth and development<br \/>\n\u2022 Understands food hygiene, service quality, and operational efficiency.<br \/>\n\u2022 Comfortable being the face of Blacksteers \u2014 performing, connecting, and creating an immersive coffee experience.<\/p>\n<p>What We Offer:<br \/>\n\u2022 A dynamic, innovative and high-energy working environment.<br \/>\n\u2022 Career progression opportunities within NWK\u2019s broader business ecosystem.<br \/>\n\u2022 Be part of a premium coffee experience that celebrates vibrancy, community, and excellence.<br \/>\nBlacksteer Lichtenburg<br \/>\nApplication can only be made through NWK&#8217;s website.
