The Beauty Department Manager will lead the beauty team to meet and exceed sales targets, drive promotional success, and ensure efficient stock management and operational excellence.<br \/>\nThis position requires a commercially minded retail leader who can balance sales growth, people management, and operational efficiency.<\/p>\n<h2>\nKey Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Stock Management &amp; Loss Prevention<br \/>\nImplement strict stock management controls to minimise shrinkage and losses.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor stock levels daily and ensure accurate inventory practices.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain compliance with store stock control policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Team Leadership &amp; Staff Development<br \/>\nRecruit, train, develop, and retain a competent and motivated Beauty Team.<\/li>\n<li>Lead and inspire Beauty Consultants to meet sales targets and performance goals.<\/li>\n<li>Foster a positive team culture focused on customer satisfaction and performance excellence.<\/li>\n<li>Sales Performance &amp; Target Achievement<br \/>\nManage daily sales activities using agreed performance metrics.Monitor performance against targets and implement corrective actions when necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies and customer engagement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Commission &amp; Performance Management<\/li>\n<li>Manage the commission process in-store.<\/li>\n<li>Provide input into budgets and set realistic sales targets.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate targets clearly to Beauty Consultants and monitor performance outcomes.<\/li>\n<li>Promotions &amp; Brand Partnerships<br \/>\nMaximise promotional sales through strategic planning and execution of promotions<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate special events and campaigns with Beauty Brand Houses.<\/li>\n<li>Build strong working relationships with brand representatives to ensure promotional support.<\/li>\n<li>Store Operations &amp; Strategic Input<br \/>\nProvide input into the Store Operating Plan.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and visual merchandising.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the beauty department reflects brand standards and enhances the shopping experience.<br \/>\nMinimum Requirements<br \/>\nTechnical &amp; Professional Skills<br \/>\nDegree, diploma, or relevant qualification in retail, business, or beauty management.<br \/>\nMinimum 3\u20135 years retail leadership experience.<br \/>\nMinimum 3\u20135 years Beauty Department Manager retail experience.<br \/>\nExperience managing a beauty counter, beauty department, or beauty retail store.<br \/>\nProven experience leading and managing Beauty Consultants.<br \/>\nBehavioural &amp; Leadership Competencies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"entry-title mh-loop-title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/southafricanyouthsjobs.co.za\/?p=1909\" rel=\"bookmark\">Code 10 Drivers<\/a><\/h3>\n<h3>Successful candidates will demonstrate:<\/h3>\n<p>Passion for retail beauty and delivering exceptional customer experiences<br \/>\nStrong planning, organising, and time-management skills.<br \/>\nStrategic and commercial thinking ability<br \/>\nHigh personal effectiveness and accountability<br \/>\nLeadership skills that inspire high performance and transformation<br \/>\nAbility to connect, motivate, and develop teams.<br \/>\nStrong decision-making and business insight.<br \/>\nInnovative merchant mindset and customer-focused thinking<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Why Join Woolworths?<\/h2>\n<p>As one of South Africa\u2019s most respected retail brands, Woolworths offers a dynamic environment where innovation, customer excellence, and employee growth are valued.
