The role is responsible for day-to-day boiler operation, routine utilities monitoring, bulk offloading coordination, first-line fault reporting, and accurate operating records to support safe, efficient and uninterrupted plant performance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Operate, start up, shut down and monitor the steam boiler and associated auxiliaries in line with plant SOPs and legal requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor steam pressure, feedwater levels, burner performance, fuel consumption, water quality and blowdown condition.<\/li>\n<li>Inspect and manage the hotwell \/ feedwater system, water softener, dosing systems and other boiler house support equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Complete routine boiler checks, record operating readings and immediately escalate unsafe or abnormal conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the chiller, cooling tower and chilled water circulation to ensure stable process cooling.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the air compressor system, including receiver, dryer, filters and pressure stability, and report any deviation or loss of performance.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out routine utility inspections for temperature, pressure, leaks, vibration, alarms and general equipment condition.<\/li>\n<li>Support start-ups, shutdowns and coordination of utility availability for production and maintenance activities.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the safe offloading of diesel, oil and vinegar into the designated storage systems.<\/li>\n<li>Verify correct product, receiving tank capacity, hose connections, valve positions and transfer route before offloading begins.<\/li>\n<li>Prevent spills, cross-contamination, overfilling and stock losses through disciplined checks and monitoring during transfer.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate offloading records and communicate stock concerns or abnormal usage to the relevant teams.<\/li>\n<li>Follow all plant safety, food safety, GMP, OH&amp;S and environmental procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Comply with lock-out \/ tag-out, permit-to-work and site emergency requirements where applicable.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain clean, safe and audit-ready boiler, compressor, chiller and offloading areas.<\/li>\n<li>Support statutory inspections, maintenance planning, incident investigations and corrective actions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nRequirements:<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Grade 12 \/ Matric.<\/li>\n<li>Qualified or certified Boiler Operator with relevant boiler operating competence for an industrial plant environment.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 3-5 years\u2019 experience operating industrial boilers and supporting utilities in a food, beverage or process manufacturing environment.<\/li>\n<li>Practical experience with diesel-fired boilers, water treatment \/ softener systems, feedwater control, blowdown management and bulk liquid offloading.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of utility systems such as chillers, cooling towers, air compressors and associated distribution systems.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work shifts, overtime, weekends and call-outs when required.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"vacancy-apply-btn margin-bob-30\"><a class=\"btn btn-primary\" href=\"https:\/\/pedroschicken.simplify.hr\/Vacancy\/Apply\/cxymh6\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Apply<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<h3 class=\"entry-title mh-loop-title\" style=\"margin: 0px;
