great.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This position reports to the Department Manager.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Your responsibilities will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dispatch KPI\u2019s \u2013 Customer orders to be placed on milkruns as per KPI\u2019s<\/li>\n<li>Cost control \u2013 manage labour \/ heads on shift vs volumes and hours<\/li>\n<li>Housekeeping \u2013 manage the team to ensure they keep area\u2019s within standards<\/li>\n<li>Goals \u2013 ensure that each individual has a clear understanding of their goals<\/li>\n<li>Review internal processes and continue to iterate and innovate to improve department continuously<\/li>\n<li>Apply our company values into daily tasks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Attributes required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong communications skills<\/li>\n<li>A structured and disciplined management style<\/li>\n<li>Ability to motivate and inspire others is critical<\/li>\n<li>Strong problem solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Self-starter with high energy levels a must<\/li>\n<li>Well-developed business and operational acumen<\/li>\n<li>Analytically minded and able to find and use data to inform decision making<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Good attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Strong Customer Service orientation<\/li>\n<li>Goal orientated and motivated to succeed<\/li>\n<li>Dynamic individual with proven experience in delivering change and innovative solutions<\/li>\n<li>Preferred experience in:\n<ul>\n<li>E-commerce experience<\/li>\n<li>ERP systems knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Experience in working with budgets and cost analysis<\/li>\n<li>LEAN or continuous improvement<\/li>\n<li>Performance management skills \u2013 knowledge of Industrial Relations and practices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grade 12 \u2013 National Senior Certificate<\/li>\n<li>Supply Chain or Logistics higher certificate is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>3-5 years Supervisory experience in logistics or distribution environment<\/li>\n<li>People management experience, good oral and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Decision making and problem solving ability<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage change within a logistics operation<\/li>\n<li>Will commit and achieve targets and project timelines.<\/li>\n<li>Willing to work shifts, including weekends if necessary, in an operational 7\/365 environment<\/li>\n<li>Self-starter with high energy levels a must<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to work as part of a multi-cultural
