great.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The position reports to the National Planning and Procurement Manager.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Your responsibilities will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Financial reporting:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare DC monthly income statement<\/li>\n<li>Prepare DC month end journals to ensure all cost allocated accurately<\/li>\n<li>Prepare cost variance analysis<\/li>\n<li>Process all DC invoices for payment and maintain a real time overview of expenses versus budget<\/li>\n<li>Participate in annual budget process and long-term planning<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the purchase order tracking tool to control all expenses to align with approved budget<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and present reports\/dashboards on trends, issues and solutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Planning: Workforce Management<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and maintain monthly, weekly, daily staff plans and schedules<\/li>\n<li>Calculate resource requirements for the DC<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate temporary staff requirements in line with approved DC plan<\/li>\n<li>Propose cost reduction initiatives while maintaining productivity.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and maintain the relationship with Temporary Employment Services providers.<\/li>\n<li>Hold regular meetings to align and engage all departmental managers to the approved plan<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and update SOPs to align with current business practice<\/li>\n<li>Manage and escalate weekly\/monthly exceptions against planned outputs and timelines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Procurement:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and manage internal and external processes, standards and SLAs<\/li>\n<li>Procure all consumables in line with the agreed plans and schedules, place orders and process all documentation<\/li>\n<li>Procure packaging materials in line DC with requirements<\/li>\n<li>Manager the relationship with current suppliers and co-ordinate the purchase order processing and delivery of goods and services.<\/li>\n<li>participate in RFP and RFQ for DC resource and service requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>DC Administration:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for the DC administration<\/li>\n<li>Provide data driven insights and recommendations to improve workforce efficiency and quality<\/li>\n<li>Develop continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, productivity and customer services.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and report on Zendesk ticket resolution<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification and experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BCom or Btech Accounting\/Cost Accounting\/Logistics<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years relevant experience within DC operations<\/li>\n<li>People management experience<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience with WMS systems such as Oracle, SAP, Logfire or similar<\/li>\n<li>High level of proficiency with MS Office packages<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in mini project management advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable with change and excellent team player<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable with learning and adapting to new systems<\/li>\n<li>Own Transport preferable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Attributes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analytical, good organiser and facilitator<\/li>\n<li>Ability to influence people, consult and facilitate<\/li>\n<li>Solutions-oriented, can-do attitude; self-motivated<\/li>\n<li>Attention to
