As global thought leaders, Discovery is passionate about innovating in order to not only achieve financial success, but to ignite positive and meaningful change within our society.<br \/>\nJob Description<br \/>\nThe Virtual Sales Consultants are expected to be highly motivated and professional ambassadors for Discovery Connect, supporting clients after their initial product take-up via the Discovery Connect channel. Successful consultants are those that build trust-based relationships, offer world-class service and reliability, always doing what is best for our clients.<br \/>\nConsultants are expected to generate sales opportunities via targeted existing Discovery Connect clients (&gt;100,000 high value target clients) through on-going servicing and upsell campaigns across the Discovery product range. Consultants must carry themselves off professionally, conducting virtual (Zoom-based) client appointments and completing holistic FNAs and sales across the product range.<br \/>\nConsultants will be expected to manage their own diary, client appointments and sales pipelines; proactively seeking sales opportunities and offering solutions tailored to a clients\u2019 needs<br \/>\nKey Outputs<br \/>\nThe successful individual will be required to perform on, but not limited to the following key outputs:<br \/>\n\u2022 Achieve sales targets through participation in proactive sales and marketing initiatives \/ campaigns<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintain a professional approach to selling and manage the high networth clients efficiently<br \/>\n\u2022 Communicate to members via telephone, email and video-calls<br \/>\n\u2022 Conduct Financial Needs Analysis<br \/>\n\u2022 Comply with the compliance requirements<br \/>\n\u2022 Achieve quality targets<br \/>\n\u2022 Adherance to service level agreements<br \/>\n\u2022 Build relationships with internal departments to ensure superior service offering to clients<br \/>\n\u2022 Keep up-to-date with competitor product and service offerings and industry developments<br \/>\n\u2022 Deal with client queries and provide information on a range of sales and service issues<br \/>\nPersonal attributes and skills<br \/>\nThe successful individual will be required to demonstrate the following competencies:<br \/>\n\u2022 Self motivated<br \/>\n\u2022 Goal orientated<br \/>\n\u2022 Team Player<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to perform under pressure<br \/>\n\u2022 Adaptable to change<br \/>\n\u2022 Persuasive and resilient<br \/>\n\u2022 Self managed with sound time management<br \/>\n\u2022 Attention to detail<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge<br \/>\n\u2022 Speak fluently (accent neutral) English\/Afrikaans<br \/>\nQualification &amp; Experience<br \/>\n\u2022 Matric<br \/>\n\u2022 At least 2 years sales experience<br \/>\n\u2022 Minimum 1 year Discovery Life product knowledge<br \/>\n\u2022 Minimum 1 year Discovery Insure product knowledge<br \/>\n\u2022 Minimum 1 year Discovery Health product knowledge<br \/>\n\u2022 Minimum 1 year Discovery Bank product knowledge<br \/>\n\u2022 Minimum 1 year Discovery Invest product knowledge<br \/>\n\u2022 PC literacy, email, word, excel (proficiency in MS Office)<br \/>\n\u2022 Tertiary qualification an advantage<br \/>\n\u2022 Essential NQF5 and RE5 qualification<br \/>\n\u2022 COB Qualification<br \/>\nBeneficial:<br \/>\n\u2022 Tertiary qualification, particularly a business degree (or progress towards one)<br \/>\n\u2022 Sound investment, life and other insurance knowledge<br \/>\n\u2022 Broker consulting experience in the financial services industry<br \/>\n\u2022 An understanding of financial planning<br \/>\nEmployment Equity<br \/>\nThe Company\u2019s approved Employment Equity Plan and Targets will be considered as part of the recruitment process.
