As a Trainee Manager you will support the execution with excellence to create a shopping experience that delights our customers.<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-9040931780721427\"\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\n     style=\"display:block\"\n     data-ad-format=\"autorelaxed\"\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-9040931780721427\"\n     data-ad-slot=\"5167572988\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p>Job Advert DetailsJob CategoryRetailJob Objectives<br \/>\nAchieve store sales and profit targets through effective execution of divisional strategies.<br \/>\nExecute customer service excellence through every aspect of the store, including store appearance, display of merchandise, product placement, story layout, and selling procedures.<br \/>\nRespond to customer complaints in accordance with company policies and procedures.<br \/>\nMonitor and report on performance and sales against daily targets.<br \/>\nExecute stock management procedures, including monitoring stock and inventory, and performing quality assurance of merchandise on a regular basis.<br \/>\nMinimise stock loss through compliance with security measures, stock and cash handling procedures.<br \/>\nImplement pricing policies on merchandise<br \/>\nCoordinate merchandise display and sales promotion activities.<br \/>\nOrders merchandise and prepare requisitions to replenish merchandise on hand.<br \/>\nPerform administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of all store operations, including the submission of employee paperwork, preparing and submitting reports, and monitoring sales receipts and cash.<br \/>\nExecute financial administration including taking inventories, reconciling cash with sales receipts and preparing daily records of transactions.<br \/>\nEnsure employees comply with established security, sales and record keeping procedures and practices.<br \/>\nSupport with people management functions including coordinating staffing schedules, managing of performance and upskilling of teams.<br \/>\nMonitor and report on the store\u2019s compliance with healthy and safety policies.<br \/>\nQualifications<br \/>\nGrade 12 certificate with English and Mathematics \u2013 (essential).<br \/>\nTertiary qualification in retail management or a related field \u2013 (desired).<br \/>\nExperience<br \/>\n+2 years\u2019 retail experience gained through working in a retail store \u2013 (essential).<br \/>\nKnowledge and Skills<br \/>\nKnowledge of retail operations including sales, customer management, merchandising, stock management, cash handling, banking, financial controls, systems, reporting and administration \u2013 (essential).<br \/>\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 \u2013 (essential).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/shoprite.erecruit.co\/candidateapp\/Jobs\/View\/SHO240326-5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Apply Here<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\"><p>Trainee Manager &#8211;
