This includes managing a team of housekeeping staff, coordinating room cleaning schedules, monitoring inventory levels of cleaning supplies, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-9040931780721427\"\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\n     style=\"display:block\"\n     data-ad-format=\"autorelaxed\"\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-9040931780721427\"\n     data-ad-slot=\"5167572988\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure consistent quality of service.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement cleaning procedures to maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, public areas, and back of house areas.<\/li>\n<li>Schedule and assign daily cleaning tasks, inspect work to ensure compliance with standards.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, order supplies as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee laundry operations to ensure availability of clean linens and towels.<\/li>\n<li>Work with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules and special requests.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and address guest feedback regarding housekeeping services.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and proper maintenance of hotel facilities.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.<\/li>\n<li>Create and implement training programs to continuously improve housekeeping staff performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"listing-content-provider-g98i95\" data-genesis-element=\"TEXT\"><br \/>\nMinimum Requirements:<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.<\/li>\n<li>A tertiary qualification in hospitality or a related field would be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>At least 3 to 5 years of proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper or Housekeeping Manager in a hotel setting.<\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational and time management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.<\/li>\n<li>Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"listing-content-provider-g98i95\" data-genesis-element=\"TEXT\"><br \/>\nWork Environment:<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fast-paced hotel environment with a focus on guest satisfaction and cleanliness.<\/li>\n<li>Frequent interaction with guests and staff members.<\/li>\n<li>Physical demands may include standing, walking, lifting, and bending.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"listing-content-provider-g98i95\" data-genesis-element=\"TEXT\"><br \/>\nThis job specification is meant to provide a general overview of the responsibilities and qualifications required for a Executive Housekeeper position at a hotel.
