Designs and maintains accurate document records, processes and systems.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS<\/p>\n<p>Financial Perspective<\/p>\n<p>Financial and budgetary effectiveness<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Deliver and manage an annual budget that represents best estimate of costs and supports the attainment of the organisation and business unit\u2019s financial objectives.<\/p>\n<p>Allocate and monitor the utilisation of allocated funds to enable the attainment of objectives.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Regularly review and proactively monitor and appropriately respond to spend against budget.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Manage and report expenditure according to financial procedure.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Budget variance<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 % variance (actual vs planned).<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Cost saving initiatives<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 % reduction on directly managed cost of production from previous year.<\/p>\n<p>Internal Business Process Perspective<\/p>\n<p>Designs and maintains stores processes and systems.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Designs, maintains and updates stores management systems including implementing appropriate controls to eliminate losses.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Ensures that established procedures for tracking purchase orders, requisitions, receipts and issues are maintained and reports deviations<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Manages and implements re-order processes and controls to management control system procedure<\/p>\n<p>Stores Management<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Monitors, reconciles, and validates financial documentation to payments and purchase orders.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Plans, manages and reports on cycle counts to ensure that stocks levels are correct.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Analyses and reports on stock variances.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Ensures that stores and equipment are safely stored, cleaned and maintained in line with company processes and relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Monitors and controls minimum and maximum stock levels and re-orders stock in line with established processes.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Compiles and submits relevant reports including:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Obsolete stock report;<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Damaged stock report;<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Stocktake reports.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Ensuring the efficient and effective management of diesel processes by:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Monitoring diesel dips are on a regular basis.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Creating diesel orders timeously.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Co-ordinating the diesel truck scheduling to the mine.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Preparing and completing Chevron and Crossroads packs and sending to Finance timeously.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Preparing diesel reconciliations on a monthly basis and investigating and reporting on variances.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Enforcement of procurement policies<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 % ZAR procurement in terms of policy\/total ZAR procurement.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 IT system utilisation<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Independent annual review of consistent use of all functionalities of all IT systems under control of the function.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Warehouse reports<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 % stock variances.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Out of stock incidents.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Re-order reports.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Legislative compliance<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Number of non-compliance incidents.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Diesel management:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Tanks always have about 2 days\u2019 worth of diesel.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Diesel orders to be created within 24 hours after delivery.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Diesel recon variance to be within 5%.<\/p>\n<p>People management and leadership<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Manage performance of direct reports ensuring agreement of annual goals, measuring performance against agreed goals and dealing with non-performance accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Talent management of direct reports, including career developments and paths for all staff and succession planning for key positions.<br \/>\n<script async Purchasing Management (NQF Level 5)<\/p>\n<p>MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Minimum 5 years\u2019 experience as a store\u2019s supervisor or specialist.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7
