Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the Laundry Worker Level II position, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  •  Relevant laundry or factory experience will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of Grade 10 or equivalent qualification.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
    Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Must be willing and able to work night shifts.
  • This role requires individuals who are physically fit, detail-oriented, and able to handle repetitive tasks in a production-based laundry environment.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • The successful candidates will be responsible for performing a range of laundry operations that support public healthcare facilities. Duties include:
  • Loading and unloading linen from industrial laundry machines.
    Sorting, counting, and folding linen accurately.
  • Ironing and pressing linen using industrial pressing and ironing machines.
  • Sealing and labeling linen bags with appropriate tags.
    Maintaining cleanliness and order in the working area and ensuring equipment is kept in good condition.
  • Counting linen deliveries to ensure accuracy.
    Distributing clean linen and collecting dirty linen from designated points.
  • The Laundry Worker Level II will play a critical role in ensuring hospitals and healthcare facilities receive clean, hygienic linen in compliance with safety and health regulations.
