Merchandiser

Our East London based client is seeking a young, energetic merchandiser to join their team and grow with their company.

 

Responsibilities:

Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment or in-store pickup

Organize and stock merchandise on sales floor and in storage areas

Maintain attractive product displays and ensure proper pricing

Assist customers with product inquiries and locate items

Process incoming inventory and update stock records

Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies

Ensure cleanliness and organization of sales floor and stockroom

Operate warehouse equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks)

Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and customer service standards

Adhere to company policies and safety procedures

 

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous retail or warehouse experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Basic computer proficiency

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
