Administrator – Cashier
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrator with cashier experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks and must be well-spoken in both English and Afrikaans. The role requires strong organisational skills, customer service experience, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Seniority Level: Mid Career (2 – 4 yrs exp)
Type: Contractor

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle general administrative duties (filing, data entry, document management, etc.)
  • Perform cashier duties including handling cash, card payments, and issuing receipts
  • Maintain accurate financial records and daily reconciliation of transactions
  • Assist with answering phones, responding to emails, and client queries
  • Support other departments with admin-related tasks as needed
  • Maintain a neat and organised work environment

Skills Required:

  • Previous experience as a cashier and/or in an administrative role
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans (spoken and written)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Cashier experience with general admin duties
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
