·       Managing and overseeing the Transport department & Drivers

 

·       Managing and overseeing the Warehouse & Bond store, receiving, despatching, maintenance of the warehouse & equipment’s, quotations, profits, queries.

 

·       Organizing workflow and delegating Task

 

·       Ensuring Delivery of containers to clients / Warehouse and Cold Stores are done efficiently.

 

·       Ensure containers are turned into the correct depots.

 

·       On going negotiations with the Transporters to ensure best buying rates and rates schedule updated monthly

 

·       Co- Ordinating and scheduling transporters when required.

 

·       Ensuring reconciling of transporters invoices are done.

 

·       Monitor container storage and demurrage schedule.

 

·       Place client on notice should there be any additional charges applicable.

 

·       Ensure the additional charges are invoiced out to the client.

 

·       Constant communication with customers by phone, email, and WhatsApp- after hours and weekends included.

 

·       All shipping files/ systems are properly endorsed with buying and selling rates for all transport movements.

 

·       Building and maintaining profitable relationships and liaise with them to always ensure effective communication and providing excellent service to the clients.

 

·       Understanding Key customer individual needs.

 

·       Resolving customer complaints quickly & efficiently

 

·       Updating management with regards to new and latest information

 

·       Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary action when required.

 

·       Processing and submitting reports weekly and monthly to management.

 

·       Attending to accruals weekly

 

·       Handling all queries
