Phakisa Holdings are looking for a Shop Manager – Boksburg Rate – Negotiables 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Operational Management:
    • Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
    • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and company policies.
    • Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure stock levels meet demand while minimizing waste.
  • Staff Management:
    • Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, and cleaning personnel.
    • Schedule staff shifts and manage payroll.
    • Foster a positive and productive work environment, addressing any staff issues or conflicts.
  • Customer Service:
    • Ensure a high standard of customer service and resolve any customer complaints or issues promptly.
    • Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements based on reviews and suggestions.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with regular patrons and new guests.
  • Financial Management:
    • Monitor and manage financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability.
    • Conduct regular financial reporting and analysis to identify areas for improvement.
    • Implement promotional activities and special events to drive sales and attract customers.
  • Marketing and Promotion:
    • Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and increase customer base.
    • Oversee social media presence and online reviews to enhance brand reputation.
  • Quality Control:
    • Ensure that food quality and presentation meet the restaurant’s standards.
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

.Additional Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of [3-5] years of experience in restaurant management or a similar role.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
    • Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
    • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
