Introduction
Our client in the Garden Maintenance Industry, requires the services of an dedicated Garden Manager to help contribute to the beatification and sustainability of the Clients Gardens.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key performance areas:
- Perform landscaping tasks, including planting, pruning, edging, weeding, garden and tree maintenance.
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants.
- Identify suitable plants for various areas within the estate, considering climate and soil conditions.
- Execute garden work on a regular cycle, ensuring consistency in appearance and health of the landscape.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or questions from clients in a professional and courteous manner.
Desired Experience & Qualification
The successful candidate must have:
- Matric with a degree or diploma in Landscaping or related qualification
- Extensive experience in a landscaping position would be advantageous
- Must have proven understanding of plant care, pruning techniques, and garden design.
- Must have proven ability to know when to prune and what to grow.
- Excellent computer literacy (MS Office – Outlook, Word & Excel )
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently and consistently.
- Must be able to manage a team
- Strong ownership and accountability for assigned tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have a driver’s licence with own reliable transport.
